ICICI Bank is the first Indian bank to offer credit cards that are co-branded with Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme of Dubai-based airline Emirates and flydubai.
The set of cards is called “Emirates Skywards ICICI Bank Credit Card,” and customers will be able to earn reward points, called “Skywards Miles,” when they spend money on travel, lifestyle, and everyday items.
Skywards Miles can be redeemed for a wide range of rewards, such as tickets on partner airlines, upgrades on flights, and hospitality at sporting and cultural events.
Visa is the network partner for the co-branded credit cards, which come in three different styles: Sapphiro, Rubyx , and Emeralde.

Emirates Skywards ICICI Bank Credit Card give up to 2.5 Skywards Miles for every Rs 100 spent. Depending on the card type, they also come with a variety of other benefits, such as free Emirates Skywards Silver status and bonus Skywards Miles.
Talking about the launch ICICI Bank’s head of unsecured assets, Sudipta Roy, said that the Emirates Skywards ICICI Bank Credit cards would be for wealthy people.
“Most credit cards have the same benefits for all customers, and they don’t cater to a certain type of customer or need. This new set of credit cards is one of the few that let customers earn the highly sought-after Skywards Miles on all eligible purchases, he said.
Nejib Ben Khedher, the senior vice president of the division, says that India is home to the fifth-largest number of Emirates Skywards members.
“We’re excited to keep giving our more than 2 million members new ways to earn and spend Miles on rewards that can’t be found anywhere else,” he said.
